CiTR is the proud host of the 2019 National Campus and Community Radio Associations Station Managers Summit (#SMS2019) January 18-19th, 2019 in Vancouver. The summit will take place UBC Grey Point Campus in the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam people.
Recommended travel days are Wednesday, January 17th if you would like time to organize yourself and see the city before the summit, or early Friday the 18th if you are able to arrive at the venue before 10am. Return, the summit will end Saturday at 4:30pm.
We suggest those flying, fly into Vancouver International Airport YVR.
Transit via Cab to the UBC $30-$40. You can also take a Train/Bus via Vancouver Transit (Translink) though this may take up to an hour and 15 minutes.
Parking: On campus (Please be mindful street parking has a maximum of 3 hours, the campus can get busy)
We have three options for accommodations:
1) Billeting with other C/C folk (We will have a few people who have space for those to join, if you have a spot, please share that information upon registration)
2) Group Air BnB (Estimated $50-75/night – depending on how many registrations we receive) – We will be booking this by December 15th, please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested
3) Seek your own accommodations

At this time, food is not covered as part of your registration.
As part of the support provided to Campus and Community radio stations by the Community Radio Fund of Canada, the NCRA/ANREC is happy to announce subsidized travel costs for those wishing to attend the summit. Focus will be on individuals who are historically disadvantaged, from rural locations and regionally in the BC Area. We ask that you fill out the corresponding section when you register. Deadline for support requests is December 2nd. Support for those attending will be announced on December 5th
